Consultancy services for projects solutions in businesses that spread from  conventional upstream Oil & Gas to  energy transition including CO2 management (capture, transport, storage, use), renewable energies (photovoltaic, wind, etc.),  circular economy (waste to fuel, bio-methane, water reuse, etc.), green energy (green hydrogen, etc.), forestation and REDD+, de-commissioning of plants at life end,  removal of abandoned structures and land reclamation, access to water. Engineering

Support client during the engineering phases of a Development Project by reinforcing / consolidating their Engineering Model with the aim to ensure each phase ownership and responsibility, maximizing efficiency and minimizing re-work. This should encompass FEED deliverbales set up as technical baseline of the contract prior contract’s award and consolidation of interface/coordination procedures as well as management of changes  during Detail Design.

Construction

Support client during the construction phase of a Development Project to ensure that the plant is realized in accordance with drawings and specifications and is ready for a safe commissioning and start up  and smooth handover to operations via a Completion Commissioning Management System (CCMS) tool, an integrated construction management database that electronically captures all activities and provides record and control of the related data.

Project management

Support client in the management of all phases of a Development Project to ensure a lean and effective organization (no redundancy, resources recruitment and training programs), distinctive Project Management Services to maintain control throughout project life cycle and extensive risk management and mitigation measure through a reverse mode approach keeping the TARGET date by performance instead of moving it towards comfortable dates.

Operations management

Support client in the uprunning management of plants to ensure a lean and effective organization (no redundancy, resources recruitment and training programs), production optimization actions through the modeling of the gathering system and the process plant, integrated logistics plans and studies to maintain control of materials / equipments delivery, maintenance and inspection plans for the integrity and performance of the assets.

Support client in the evaluation of  oil and gas reserveoir with main focus on those already exploited / end of production life aiming at identifying new business opportunities (remaining reserves valorization or usage as CO2 storage) by creation of a reservoir  database (quantitative log and core analysis, 2D/3D studies, geological structures, pressure and production data, fluid analysis, hystory match) and new reservoir simulation via market’s available software.

WHO WE ARE

Founder, Managing Partner

Gabriele, after earning a master degree in civil engineering and a short working experience in a civil works contractor joined Eni in 1989 as structural engineer. Earlier in his career at Eni he has been involved in multiple development projects in Italy and overseas (spreading in many countries including Far East, Nigeria, Libya, Egypt and Iraq) with increasing levels of responsibility up to General Manager. From 2017 to 2018 Gabriele has been appointed as President and CEO of Eni Operating US, Eni’s subsidiary in the United States of America, responsible for running oil and gas operations and he has also acted as Deputy Executive Vice President for the Americas Region. From 2019 until 2020 he has been appointed as Executive Vice President for all Eni Worldwide Development Projects at Eni’s Milan headquarter and Chairman of the board of Eniprogetti.

 

Finally, from 2021 until 2023 he has held the position of President and CEO of Eni Next, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of Eni, creating a considerable portfolio of companies (startup) with high innovation and growth potential.

Pietro commenced a distinguished career at Eni in 1988 within the Engineering & Project Management Department. Rapid advancement led to the role of Engineering Manager, overseeing teams across Eni’s Italian districts and international subsidiaries. Demonstrated expertise in large-scale project management included significant roles such as Project Director for multi-billion-dollar development projects, notably the South Pars in Iran, the Elephant in Libya, and Kashagan Experimental Program in Kazakhstan.

 

In 2015, the culmination of extensive managerial responsibilities was marked by the appointment as EVP for all Eni Development Projects (Upstream, Downstream and Chemicals) at the Milan headquarters. This role encompassed oversight of the professional families of Project Management, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning. Additionally, took the position of chairman of the board of Eniprogetti.

 

Throughout a prolific career, numerous leadership roles were undertaken, including CEO of Eni’s Southern Italian operating districts. International assignments featured the role of Managing Director of Agiba in Egypt and Eni Abu Dhabi in the UAE. In Abu Dhabi, responsibilities included serving as Middle East & Far East COO of the technical HUB and Deputy EVP of the entire region.
